Close Conversations is Hye Shin Chun’s first solo exhibition in New York. Based in Los Angeles and a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chun presents paintings that explore intimacy and perception through forced perspectives and shifting angles. Moving rhythmically across the canvas, she builds tilted compositions and soft palettes in which figures and spaces remain uncertain.
