Confessions of Fire reflects on how images of Black masculinity are constructed and consumed. Drawing from Cam’ron’s early persona and the contradictions of performative codes like “pause,” the exhibition considers masculinity’s instability and the pressures shaping identity. New steel works explore enclosure as a formal analogue to interruption and self-confrontation.
