Caitlin McCormack’s solo exhibition CONVERSATION PIT, curated by Kat Ryals, opens at All Street Gallery’s Chinatown location. McCormack began creating text-based works during the pandemic as her relationships shifted to text. She sewed cushions and domestic objects overgrown with vines, reflecting on feeling trapped in her own home. The text emerged as a way to express the intrusive thoughts she felt were trapped within her household belongings.
