CANADA gallery is happy to present Couch Paintings a group exhibition organized by Sadie Laska and Tif Sigfrids. The exhibition will open on April 18th with a reception from 6 PM till late and remain on view through May 24th.
Couch Paintings includes a broad community of painters and features work that is primarily rectangular in format. A group of couches will be installed in the gallery, creating a space for people to convene and participate in the series of events happening over the course of the exhibition. Couches serve both practical and decorative functions, but they are also a generative place where we tap into our stream of consciousness, hang out with friends, and dream up our best ideas. We hope you’ll join us on the couches!
