Ruby/Dakota presents CULONA POLITICS, the debut solo exhibition of new paintings by Katherine Sepúlveda. Through vivid depictions of femme, Latine identity, the artist navigates heritage, religion, queer hyperfemininity, and generational cycles. Using acrylic and found materials, Sepúlveda creates intricate "pocket universes" that question how the consumption habits of marginalized communities are judged and policed.
