In Data Center, Analia Saban turns to woodcut, one of printmaking’s oldest processes, to render the invisible infrastructure of our digital world tangible and material.
Analia Saban (b. 1980, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Los Angeles based artist whose work examines the material and conceptual boundaries of painting, sculpture, and architecture. Through experimental processes that manipulate traditional artistic media, Saban reconsiders the conventions of abstraction and representation. Her practice often transforms everyday materials and techniques into intricate investigations of surface, structure, and perception. Saban has exhibited internationally, including at the Whitney Museum of American Art, MOCA Los Angeles, and the Centre Pompidou.
