Swiss Institute presents Daya Benda, the first institutional exhibition by Indonesian artist Bagus Pandega. Through responsive installations powered by breath, electricity, and chemistry, Pandega explores Indonesia’s resource extraction history—from spices to nickel mining. Using plants, minerals, and hacked technologies, he creates interactive systems that reflect cycles of depletion and interdependence. The works merge material experimentation with ecological and spiritual insight.
