New cast-bronze horse sculptures by Deborah Butterfield, whose lifelong fascination with horses has shaped her career-defining approach to sculpture. Originally built from mud, clay, and sticks, her forms evolved into scrap-metal and found-wood assemblages later cast in bronze, preserving the texture of the original materials.
