Otero Fuentes: Deep Altars presents sculptural work proposing ritual encounter as a counter to hope's commodification in the attention economy. Working in steel and concrete, Otero Fuentes — trained as an architect — constructs arcs, angles, and spatial rhythms that function as both objects and thresholds. Each work operates as a material offering oriented toward invisible forces: hope, gravity, intention, presence. Where the scroll demands signification, these sculptures offer something older — the possibility of relation through proximity rather than through a screen.
