Disappear Here is a solo exhibition of oil paintings by Jake Sheiner that reflects on Los Angeles as a lived and remembered environment. Drawing from autobiography and cultural reference, the works depict everyday scenes, improvised memorials, and public gestures of devotion. The paintings examine how memory, grief, and desire circulate within a city shaped by spectacle, erosion, and intimacy.
