Marianne Boesky Gallery presents Disobedient Thoughts, Ghada Amer’s third solo show with the gallery, featuring new embroidered paintings and experimental sculptures. Amer challenges male-dominated art traditions by using embroidery as a painterly tool, merging sensual imagery with references to iconic male artists.
