Dog Show #5: Field Recordings is Stephen Morrison’s first exhibition at SLAG&RX – New York. The exhibition presents new works that reinterpret everyday objects through a canine framework. Using humor and distortion, Morrison transforms domestic materials into assemblages and paintings that explore emotional attachment, memory, and lived environments. The works reference locations central to the artist’s life, including Paris, New York City, and Maine, and incorporate altered decorative patterns, urban materials, and handmade quilt supports.
