Draw Them In, Paint Them Out presents the works of Philip Guston and Trenton Doyle Hancock, exploring their shared engagement with themes of evil, self-representation, and activism. The exhibition features Guston’s iconic Klan paintings alongside Hancock’s graphic memoir, Epidemic!, which connects their respective battles against white supremacy. Both artists use humor and the language of comics to address difficult subjects, offering dark yet compelling commentaries on race and power in America.
