Draw Them In, Paint Them Out brings Philip Guston and Trenton Doyle Hancock into dialogue, exploring how both artists confront racism, identity, and power through dark humor and the language of comics. Featuring Guston’s late satirical Klan paintings and Hancock’s works inspired by them, the exhibition examines how each artist uses self-reflection and satire to challenge systems of oppression and reveal the persistence of racial tension in America.
