Silverlens presents the first exhibition devoted to Carlos Villa and Leo Valledor’s drawings, revealing their generative, immediate approach to art. Villa’s looping “slinky” forms and Valledor’s precise geometric compositions highlight a shared kinship, capturing thought in motion. Alongside select master paintings, the works trace their early New York period, showcasing experimentation, ancestry, color, and space as central to their Filipino American modernist legacy.
