DROMOS is a solo exhibition by New York-based artist and photographer Philipp James Hoffmann. Drawing from competition motocross and freestyle motocross footage, Hoffmann re-photographs projected moving images through repeated cycles of enlargement and capture. The resulting works are fragmented and distorted, reflecting speed, danger, and physical intensity while maintaining reference to the original sporting contexts.
