Pace, London presents É preciso não ter medo de criar, the first UK solo exhibition of Brazilian artist Sonia Gomes, curated by Paulo Miyada. Featuring pendants, torsions, bronzes, wall works, paintings, and her first video, the show expands her practice of transforming textiles and found objects into powerful abstractions. Rooted in Afro-diasporic traditions, Gomes explores care, memory, and liberation through acts of sewing, wrapping, twisting, and reimagining everyday materials.
