Magenta Plains presents Ebecho Muslimova & Maria Lassnig, an exhibition exploring the psychological and physical experience of the body. Muslimova’s bold, cartoon-like depictions of her character Fatebe contrast with Lassnig’s expressive, gestural paintings, yet both artists examine vulnerability, self-exposure, and transformation. Referencing mythology, sci-fi, and bodily perception, their works challenge expectations of femininity, using the body as both subject and medium for self-exploration.
