Shiota’s knotted threads create hypnotic, ephemeral spaces exploring existence, consciousness, and memory. Works include luminous clouds, red-threaded immersive rooms, delicate reliquaries, and Infinite Lines, where web-like surfaces evoke the texture of skin.
