Echoes of Gen X: The Art of the Fillmore examines concert art produced for the Fillmore in San Francisco from the late twentieth century. The exhibition brings together rare gig prints and original ephemera that were not publicly circulated, reflecting the visual language surrounding post-grunge, alternative, indie rock, early hip-hop, metal, dance, and emo music. Additional materials reference the venue’s earlier history through selected ephemera from prior decades.
