Merging ancient weaving and digital algorithms, de la Paz creates works on a Jacquard loom using natural fibers and dyes. Pieces like Some Circles (NY) and Warped Grid highlight distortions between digital code and material form. Inspired by Mitla, Mexico, the exhibition explores identity, technology, and ancestral connections across time and space.
