Track 16 presents The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, Elyse Pignolet’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. Responding to global injustice, women’s rights violations, and political upheaval, Pignolet employs ceramics and sumi-ink works on paper to slow down the relentless news cycle, memorialize victims, and foreground resistance. Sugar bowls, historically tied to activism, anchor her ceramic presentation, while butterflies recur as emblems of fragility and change, offering hope amid chaos and systemic violence.
