Eros Rising is a salon-style group exhibition that tracks a century of erotic tension across the photographs, drawings, and paintings of forty-one artists. From Pavel Tchelitchew's 1930s ink wash of sailors to Alvin Baltrop's West Side pier photographs to Oliver Herring's glitter-and-Mylar studio works, the exhibition aligns desire, longing, fantasy, and spectacle in a dense, intergenerational array where cinematic tropes and casual intimacy coexist.
