Exactly the Same… Only Different is a solo exhibition of recent works by David Kramer. Bringing together paintings, hook rugs, and sculptural furniture, the works draw from vintage magazines and contemporary imagery to examine aspiration, nostalgia, and self-mythologizing. Text, image, and material shift between humor and restraint, using everyday objects and labor-intensive processes to reflect on cultural language and personal desire.
