MAKIBAKA: A Living Legacy honors the history, culture, and impact of the Filipino community in SoMa and the Bay Area. Presented by SOMA Pilipinas and YBCA, the exhibition features contemporary works alongside community-held objects and stories. Drawing from the spirit of collective resistance, it highlights intergenerational creativity and coincides with the return of community festivals Pistahan and the Parol Lantern Festival.
