Johansson Projects presents Window Seat, featuring C.J. Chueca’s hand-built ceramic airplane windows. Each piece evokes the shifting experience of flight, with variations in color reflecting different times of day. Referencing Chueca’s personal migrations between Mexico, Peru, and the U.S., the fragile ceramic forms capture the emotional and physical in-betweenness of travel, inviting reflection on perspective, movement, and the liminal space between places.
