In Short Letter, Long Farewell, Kristy Chan presents new paintings and drawings reflecting on movement, longing, and daily life. Born in Hong Kong and based in London, she addresses America as both place and idea, inspired in part by Peter Handke’s novel. Drawing on literature, memory, and fleeting encounters, her works shift between figuration and abstraction, finding quiet luminosity amid uncertainty and change.
