This exhibition brings together small-scale abstractions and a new series of looping monochrome paintings by Palme. Working in oil on unbleached linen, the artist builds surfaces through layered brushstrokes, scraping, and dense accumulations of paint. Referencing earlier works and art history, Palme approaches painting with skepticism, continually questioning the medium and its inherited conventions.
