Ellie Rines Gallery presents *Waterloo!*, Christopher K. Ho’s third solo exhibition with the gallery and its inaugural show at 46 Walker Street. Twenty new candelabras draw on the transition from the Napoleonic Wars to the Biedermeier era to examine contemporary structures of authority, censorship, and domestic retreat. Blending decorative arts with Brutalism, Futurism, and Cubism, Ho transforms bourgeois objects into monuments to revolution and resistance.
