Nicola Turner’s installation conjures eerie, tentacular forms crafted from horsehair and wool, animated by repurposed hospital trolleys. These ambiguous entities evoke both primordial matter and remnants of human presence, reflecting on memory, perception, and transformation. Engaging with Donna Haraway’s ideas, Turner explores vision as tactile and reciprocal. Situated in a former laundry, the work reverses its erasure of bodily traces, instead accumulating histories, sensations, and movement.
