Yancey Richardson presents Facsimile, Sharon Core’s latest exhibition, examining authenticity and reproduction. Departing from her usual process, Core reinterprets Irving Penn’s Flowers series by painting his photographs instead of photographing still-life paintings. She creates a hand-made replica of Penn’s book, inviting tactile engagement.
