Fade, the sixth installment of the Studio Museum in Harlem's F show series, runs May 1 through September 6, 2026, featuring seventeen early-career artists of African and Afro-Latinx descent from across the United States. Comprising newly commissioned and loaned works in a variety of media, the exhibition finds artists embracing spirituality, surrealism, and nonlinear conceptions of time, drawing on ancestral lineages, place, and the built environment.
