Omari Douglin's Fantasy in Japan runs June 25 through August 8, 2026 at Matthew Brown, Los Angeles. Inspired by the artist's first trip to Japan, the show blurs the boundary between the real and the imagined through oil paintings of Japanese figures grounded in silhouette, rendered in a palette of red, black, blue, brown, and white, alongside his first works on paper and a show within a show featuring over thirty invited artists.
