The MFA visual and sound art classes of 25’ and 26’ at Columbia University are pleased to announce this year’s summer exhibition, ‘Fault Lines’, curated by Jenée Daria-Strand. ‘Fault Lines’ features the work of over 50 artists working across a variety of mediums including (but not limited to) moving image, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, sound art, and new genres. ‘Fault Lines’ traces how artists navigate and expose the subtle ruptures—personal, political, environmental—that shape our lived experience. The exhibition maps the generative fractures within contemporary artistic practice, where questions of place, identity, and material process meet conditions of instability, tension, and transformation.
