FEEEL is Youjin Yi's first solo exhibition with Spencer Brownstone Gallery and in the United States, comprising new paintings, works on paper and ceramics. Yi, who studied in Munich, does not paint nature from observation; the creatures, plants and landscapes in her work spring from what she calls a "library of my heart," a lifetime of accumulated memories and sensations.
