Saba Farhoudnia: Forsaken with a Side of Pickles envisions urban and post-urban landscapes where nature reclaims human-built structures. On layered gesso canvases, she merges architectural ruins with fleeting life, using humor and vibrant color to question humanity’s dominance. Inspired by real landmarks and imagined ecologies, her works suggest that traces of presence endure, offering hope amid decay and the possibility of future renewal.
