HESSE FLATOW presents Franklin, Nat Meade’s third solo exhibition with the gallery, featuring paintings and works on paper. Drawing on personal experiences as a father and son, Meade uses allegorical figures and mythic references to reflect on grief, inheritance, and responsibility. While some works confront mortality and inner conflict, images of younger figures introduce moments of guidance and renewal, suggesting resilience and the possibility of healing across generations.
