Nancy Bowen: From A to Z and the Bodies In Between brings together collages and sculpture that excavate language, craft tradition, and the female body. Dictionary pages sourced from her parents' home are layered with geometric patterns, glitter, and pigment — words surfacing without fixed narrative, their resonance shifting with the political climate. Sculptures built on ceramic foundations incorporate porcupine quills, coral, and beads, evoking the female figure while resisting literal classification. Across both practices, Bowen reconfigures her materials simultaneously, transforming words into images and bodies into open-ended propositions.
