From Beginnings, curated by Sean Zhang at LATITUDE Gallery, presents paintings by Hu Junjun and John Hyen Lee that meditate on time, memory, and transcendence. Hu’s serene works draw from Buddhist iconography to evoke spiritual awakening, while Lee’s grid-based abstractions, rooted in the Korean alphabet, trace language and temporality through layered marks and erasures, revealing stillness within repetition.
