This exhibition examines artistic responses to personal and national histories in postwar Germany, from the 1960s to the present. Focusing on individual artists and broader generational concerns, the works address changing social and political conditions through evolving artistic methods. The presentation draws from both the Fisher Collection and the museum’s permanent collection.
