Microscope presents Get on Your Knees, Jesus Loves You, Ayanna Dozier’s second solo show with the gallery. Drawing from her experience in a fundamentalist church, Dozier explores submission, power, and eroticism through hand-printed photos on leather, 16mm film, and installations. Her work contrasts religious ritual with BDSM, using her body to reclaim agency and question patriarchal hierarchies. The exhibition critiques religious repression and societal views on sex work.
