Glen Cebulash’s second show at Bowery Gallery, Fabrications, is a continuation of his interest in reconciling two seemingly contradictory concerns: abstraction and objectivity. In both drawings and paintings, Cebulash improvises with a limited set of formal elements to arrive at an image that feels as much discovered as it is invented.
