Good Fire: Tending Native Lands examines how Native communities in Northern California have long used controlled fire as a land stewardship practice. Developed with Native fire practitioners, artists, and cultural leaders, the exhibition presents artworks, photographs, videos, and material objects that situate cultural burning as essential to ecological health, community continuity, and Native sovereignty, while addressing the impacts of land dispossession and fire suppression.
