Overduin & Co. announces “Good While It Lasted,” an exhibition of intimately scaled paintings by Katelyn Eichwald. The works depict moments drawn from recent cinema and popular music imagery, including references to films such as My Own Private Idaho and Brokeback Mountain. Based on screenshots taken while watching films, the paintings consider time, desire, identity, impermanence, and modes of being shaped by projection and longing. Their small scale encourages close, individual viewing.
