Forum Gallery presents an exhibition honoring Gregory Gillespie (1936–2000), on view Sept 12–Nov 8, 2025. Known for self-portraits, surreal scenes, and trompe l’oeil illusions, Gillespie fused technical mastery with visionary intensity. His career spanned Fulbright and Chester Dale fellowships, major retrospectives, and regular inclusion in leading museums. Marking 25 years since his passing, the show coincides with screenings of The Painted Life of Gregory Gillespie, an award-winning 2025 documentary.
