At once dynamic and organic, Kristy Luck’s (b. 1985, Woodstock, IL) paintings merge surrealism with spiritual abstraction. Her richly modulated palette and controlled brushwork reflect an introspective practice exploring meaning, figuration, and the limits of time and space. Luck holds a BFA from Rockford University (2010) and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2014). She has held solo exhibitions at Franklin Parrasch Gallery (NY), Philip Martin Gallery (LA), Mendes Wood DM (São Paulo), and more. Her work has appeared in group shows across the U.S. and Canada. Based in Los Angeles, Luck is featured in the Hammer Museum’s Made in L.A. 2025 biennial and is represented by parrasch heijnen, Los Angeles.
