Dean Majd: Hard Feelings presents photographs made within his close circle in Queens, New York. Working from a position of proximity and participation, Majd documents moments of intimacy, aggression, grief, and care among a group of friends over several years. The images consider masculinity, trauma, and vulnerability, holding violence and tenderness in unresolved tension.
