*Hard Line Women* examines the work of Japanese women artists who engaged with hard-edge abstraction during pivotal moments in global feminism. Through painting, sculpture, photography, and graphic design, these artists pursued geometry, formal restraint, and material clarity while challenging masculine ideals of artistic expression. The exhibition expands the history of hard-edge abstraction and foregrounds the significant contributions of women to twentieth-century Japanese modernism.
