Anat Ebgi is pleased to announce Head in the Clouds. Considering the portrait as shadow, as avatar, as likeness, Head in the Clouds examines a range of approaches to a traditional subject matter. The artists in the exhibition unpack the construction of identity through allegory, transformation, absence, distortions, doublings, emotions and atmospheres. Drawing both from life and imagination the exhibition provokes questions about the boundaries of representation and the uncanny nature of reality.
