P·P·O·W presents The Wanderers, Hew Locke’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. New sculptures, watercolors, and altered share certificates explore the movement of people, objects, capital, and ideas across oceans and time. Drawing on migration, trade, colonialism, and empire, Locke transforms boats, monuments, historical figures, and vernacular architecture into richly layered reflections on history, power, memory, and cultural exchange.
